USB 2.0 in 2014? Seriously Samsung?

After being touted as Samsung's flagship tablet in 2014, it's truly shocking to find out that not only this device came with an outdated SoC and a sub-par battery, but it doesn't even have USB 3.0 support. You gotta be joking Samsung. I have never seen such sleazy cost cutting before, where the manufacturer uses premium parts for the things you can see with your eyes but bargain basement parts bin for everything that goes inside. Moreover, yesterday I find out that Samsung's Lollipop update won't install through the regular update channel because I have made "unauthorized modifications" to my tablet (read rooting my device in order to correct the idiotic deficiencies, such as ridiculously low headphone volume gain). Geez.

[Q] galaxy s4 stuck in boot screen

hi



first i know its anoying when people opened a new threads with the same questions but this is the only way that people will realy answer back....



i have a galaxy s4 i9505 (jflte) international 4.4.2 rooted. i replace my cwm with philz and i wanted to rebot my phone so i did it and when i reboot the phone didnt wake up it get stuck every time.i serched all over the internet for guides and nothing helped.

1. i tried to get into safe mode but nothing happend it still get stuck on the logo.

2. i tried all kind of reset things in philz (factory reset,wipe cache,wipe davlik cache,clean to install new rom,wipe use media,everythng!!!!!!!)

3. i tried to pull out the battery and the sd card.







if anyone can help me fast i will thank him a lot!!!!!

[Q] How to remove aggressive Security software?

I recently bought a Lenovo s820 it was not until I got the phone did I realize that it has its own security software but its the most aggressive software I've ever come across.

The software is called secureit a chinese app created by Lenovo, I rooted my phone to uninstall bloatware most of it being in chinese so I decided to remove the security app but it put a message up on the screen "an android icon and message" telling me of a security error, the message and icon where transparent and not removeable, I had no choice but to find the app again and reinstall but not until after it blocked my sim card.



The app scans everything that you do on the phone, every app install requires your permission, every call is scanned as it tells you your call is secure and its always working in the background. The menu is also in chinese and there does not seem to be many ways to customize how it functions.



So is there a way to remove it without it bricking my phone or throwing up security warnings?

[Q] 5.1 and Microsoft Exchange services

Hi,



I was wondering what options are there in AOSP 5.1 roms to have my Microsoft Exchange email account up 'n' running? I tried adding the latest Microsoft exchange services app, my account seems to be set up through Gmail app but in reality, no emails show up in any folder and whenever I manually synchronize there's an exchange services force close error... Do I need the old email app? And if so, do I also need the separate services app?
