Questions before sending phone to warranty

Hi guys,



My Htc One has the purple tint issue and the warranty is going to end in two weeks so I want to send it for repairing before it ends. My phone has unlocked bootloader and is rooted, should I unroot and lock the bootloader before sending it for repair or is it ok if I send it as it is??

And how long does it take to get the phone back in the UK, London more precisely?
