[Q] Changing color of the status bar l5 ii e450

I searched a lot but not able to find a way to change the color of the status bar on android 4.1.2 I have used gravity box for jelly bean and tinted status bar.They are not bale to change the color of the status bar they only change the color of the status bar for few seconds after that it changes to default color. Please help i am really bored with the default color. I am using speria by slipsystem. Thanks to the successful solution giver in advance. I think you know what i mean.
